Monotypes by Zofia Stanislawska. New works by the artist done in the technique of monotype will be available for sale durign our Christmas fair organized in the Plum-tree studio, as well as on our website.
Monotype is a fascinating technique that gives effects simmilar to painting. We only get one unique print and that makes a monotype more valuable than a normal print which is usually a part of an edition. The new series of monotypes shows the electropower station in Warsaw with its characteristic painted chimneys. These works prove that industrial themes can be cheerful and vibrant.
